GOVA SALON was founded by Amy Martinez. Her unique concept was to structure a salon into a relaxing spa atmosphere and provide every guest with top notch services and a soothing experience. With a departmentalized structure in place, Sua'vizar Salon specialists benefits you at every price range and educational expertise.

Our stylists and colourists are highly advanced with the current trends, styles, techniques, education and most importantly unsurpassed customer service skills needed to pamper you when you walk in our door. Our highly exclusive product line from Parma Italy called Davines supports our concept and soothing feel. We also take part in our own monthly professional photo shoots with highly regarded photographers. Our photo shoot work can be seen in various magazines and displayed in our salon. The reason behind it is to provide our stylists with more than just cutting/coloring hair. We encourage creativeness and expression of skills. Though our direction for fashion can be diverse and fun, we encourage one thing to all of our staff and guests — embrace our theme “Tone it Down and Relax”.

Amy came from the teachings of Toni & Guy and later combined her own twists of ideas to suavizar salons educational program. After a few years at Toni & Guy, Amy decided to pursue a different direction in hair. She developed a love for updo’s and decided to enter the bridal industry. With enormous opportunities Amy took advantage and worked hard to build what is now one of the top wedding hair businesses in the Dallas/Fort Worth area called “A Bride Too Be -Hair Artistry and Couture”. With a high demand for services and a rapid growing cliental, Amy decided to establish a salon to cater to her loyal clients, teach her unique style to others and spend more time with her family.
